Everyone talks about being transparent
When I hear that word transparency I imagine a person standing in front of a crowd of people as a glass statue that you can see directly through. The thing is nobody is that transparent. When the sun hits that status just right you can see all the flaws as well as the bruises that heal from all that person’s been through. With that comes vulnerability. People are terrified to be vulnerable. To let someone that close to you and pray they do not abuse you the same as others have. To me vulnerability and transparency goes hand and hand. The good thing about being that beautiful glass statue is once the rain and pain is gone there comes a rainbow shining right through it all.
